The European Senior Tour returned to
La Quinta Golf & Country Club in
Spain for the second edition of the Bena-havis Senior Masters this past October.
The pros were tested during competition
on two new par 3s: No. 2, which now calls
for a demanding shot over water; and
No. 6, built into a mountainside with
an equally challenging tee shot. The redesigned holes were completed in preparation for the tournament after a major
renovation of The Guadaiza Course at
La Quinta. Festivities leading up to the
event included entertainment for local
children and their families through the
Interactive Golf Zone, offering a free
introduction to golf in a relaxed environment through the SNAG coaching system
