Troon Launches iPhone
and Android Course Apps
Bringing the “World of Troon” straight to your mobile device, Troon has launched free iPhone and Android applications
that will be available for more than 100 golf courses across the
globe. The first phase of the launch includes more than 30 apps
that are now live for courses located in Arizona, California,
Florida, Texas, Georgia, and Hawaii. Exciting app features enable
guests and members of Troon-managed properties to use an
interactive GPS range finder, record their score using a digital
scorecard, and easily check-in for special offers. The apps are
designed for individual facilities, delivering unique information
on each golf course. Members and guests may also use the apps to
engage with their social connections through Facebook and share
their golf experiences in real time.
